Opening concert of the Stillwater Music Festival!
Washington County Historic Courthouse, 101 West Pine street, Stillwater, MN
Well folks, it's that time of the year again. The 3rd annual Stillwater Music Festival opens today! This year's festival kicks off its celebration of vocal chamber music with Nonesuch recording artist Christina Courtin joining Brooklyn Rider in original songs for voice and quartet. Last year, Christina was called by Time Out NY "one of the top 5 up-and-coming singer-songwriters to look out for". To show a link to her classical training on violin at The Juilliard School, and to the songwriters of the past, we will perform Schubert's 'Death and the Maiden' string quartet. We are so excited about this year's festival, and we hope you can join us in the beautiful St.Croix Valley, MN. And if you can't join us, please spread the word and tell all your friends and relatives in the Twin Cities area about this festival. for more information, please visit www.stillwatermusicfestival.com.
